Campaign to Stop Killer Coke UpdateNewsletter August 4, 2004There have been quite a few gains in the Campaign to Stop Killer Coke this summer despite the fact that school is out and unions are on summer schedules. Campaign Director Ray Rogers attended the Boston Social Forum and participated in a workshop at which a number of college students were present - a number of them expressed interest in bringing the Campaign to their campuses this coming semester. As reported in recent newsletters, a few unions have passed anti-Coke resolutions at their conventions and a school district in Gil-Montague, Massachusetts voted down a Coke contract for their school district. In the past two weeks, a number of articles were published and are listed in our News section: 1. "Coke's Image Under Attack," by Kevin McCauley, O'Dwyer PR Daily, August 2004
